A refreshing and creamy Thai iced tea recipe perfect for hot days.
Ingredients

- 2 cups water
- 4 tablespoons Thai tea leaves
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- In a saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Once boiling, remove from heat and add the Thai tea leaves. Let steep for about 5 minutes.
- Strain the tea into a heatproof pitcher, discarding the tea leaves.
- Stir in the sugar until fully dissolved. Allow the tea to cool to room temperature.
- Once cooled, refrigerate the tea for at least 30 minutes.
- To serve, fill a glass with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice, filling the glass about three-quarters full.
- Top with evaporated milk and stir gently to combine. If desired, add vanilla extract for extra flavor.
Notes
- For a creamier version, substitute half of the evaporated milk with coconut milk.
- Add a splash of sweetened condensed milk for a richer sweetness and creaminess.
