- 1 medium cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon capers, drained
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large lettuce leaves (such as romaine or butter lettuce)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, fresh dill, capers, lemon juice, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well blended and smooth.
- Lay out the large lettuce leaves on a clean surface.
- Spread a generous layer of the cream cheese mixture over each lettuce leaf.
- Place slices of smoked salmon evenly over the cream cheese layer.
- Add a few slices of cucumber on top of the salmon.
- Starting from one end, carefully roll the lettuce leaf tightly to form a pinwheel.
- Repeat the process with the remaining ingredients.
- Once all pinwheels are rolled, slice each pinwheel into bite-sized pieces.
- Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving for a chilled option.
