- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 ounces nduja sausage
- 8 ounces burrata cheese
- 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the nduja sausage and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until it starts to melt and become fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2 minutes until they soften slightly.
- Remove the skillet from heat and gently fold in the torn basil leaves.
- On a serving platter, place the burrata cheese in the center. Spoon the shrimp and nduja mixture around the burrata.
- Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the shrimp and burrata. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the shrimp.
- Serve with crusty bread or over a bed of arugula for a complete meal.
