Description

A flavorful dish combining shrimp, nduja sausage, and creamy burrata cheese, garnished with fresh basil and cherry tomatoes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 ounces nduja sausage
  • 8 ounces burrata cheese
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, torn
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the nduja sausage and cook for about 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently until it starts to melt and become fragrant.
  2. Add the shrimp to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and opaque. Stir in the halved cherry tomatoes and cook for an additional 2 minutes until they soften slightly.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and gently fold in the torn basil leaves.
  4. On a serving platter, place the burrata cheese in the center. Spoon the shrimp and nduja mixture around the burrata.
  5. Drizzle the balsamic glaze over the shrimp and burrata. Serve with lemon wedges on the side for squeezing over the dish.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes when cooking the shrimp.
  • Serve with crusty bread or over a bed of arugula for a complete meal.
