Description

A delightful and easy recipe for Oreo Dessert Cups that combines creamy layers with crunchy Oreo cookies.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 package (15.35 oz) Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup (optional)
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream, powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until stiff peaks form. Set aside.
  2. In another bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  3. Gently fold the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture until well combined.
  4. In serving cups or bowls, layer crushed Oreo cookies at the bottom, followed by a layer of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Repeat the layers until the cups are filled, finishing with a layer of the cream cheese mixture on top.
  6. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top if desired and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with Greek yogurt.
  • You can also add a layer of fresh berries between the Oreo and cream cheese layers for added flavor and freshness.
