Mini Tres Leches Bites are a delightful and moist dessert that combines the classic tres leches cake flavors in a bite-sized form.

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- Soak: 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- Finish: 1 Tbsp powdered sugar
- ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Grease a mini muffin tin.
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream the softened butter and sugar together for 3–4 minutes.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time.
- Mix in the vanilla extract.
- Alternate adding the dry mixture and the milk, mixing just to combine.
- Fill the muffin cups about 2/3 full with the batter.
- Bake for 15–18 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool for 5 minutes, then poke holes in each bite.
- Spoon approximately 1 tablespoon of the soak mixture over each bite in two passes.
- Chill in the refrigerator for 1–2 hours.
- Dust with powdered sugar and ground cinnamon before serving.

- Ensure the butter is softened for easier creaming with sugar.
- Do not overmix the batter to keep the bites light and fluffy.
- Adjust the soaking time based on personal preference for moisture.
