Description
A delicious recipe for marinated and grilled sea bass fillet with herbs that is perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ pounds sea bass fillets
- ÂĽ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, parsley, basil, dill, salt, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Place the sea bass fillets in a shallow dish or a resealable plastic bag and pour the marinade over the fish. Ensure the fillets are well coated. Cover the dish or seal the bag and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for more flavor.
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. If using a grill pan, heat it over medium-high heat on the stovetop.
- Remove the sea bass from the marinade and let any excess marinade drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
- Lightly oil the grill grates or grill pan to prevent sticking. Place the sea bass fillets on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and has nice grill marks.
- Remove the fillets from the grill and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
- For a smoky flavor, add a few wood chips to the grill or use a cedar plank for grilling.
- Substitute the sea bass with other firm white fish like snapper or cod for a different taste.
