Description

Low Carb Keto Turtles are a delicious and guilt-free treat that satisfies your sweet tooth without the carbs.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1 cup sugar-free chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup sugar-free caramel sauce
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon sea salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spread the pecan halves on a baking sheet and toast them in the oven for about 8-10 minutes, until they are fragrant and lightly browned. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  2. In a small saucepan over low heat, combine the sugar-free caramel sauce and coconut oil. Stir until melted and smooth. Remove from heat.
  3. On a parchment-lined baking sheet, arrange clusters of 3-4 pecan halves in a circle to form a base for each turtle. Drizzle a spoonful of the caramel mixture over each cluster.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the sugar-free chocolate chips in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel-topped pecan clusters.
  5. Sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over each turtle for an added flavor boost.
  6. Refrigerate the turtles for at least 30 minutes to allow the chocolate and caramel to set.
  7. Once set, remove from the refrigerator and enjoy your low carb keto turtles!

Notes

  • For a nut-free version, substitute sunflower seeds for the pecans.
  • Add a sprinkle of crushed sea salt or a dash of vanilla extract to the caramel mixture for extra flavor.
