Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups cauliflower florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup shredded Gruyère cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon truffle oil
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 8 ounces cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup caviar (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking dish with butter.
- Steam the cauliflower florets until tender, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and let cool slightly.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the heavy cream, Gruyère cheese, Parmesan cheese, butter, chives, truffle oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the steamed cauliflower and chopped lobster meat to the cheese mixture. Gently fold until the cauliflower and lobster are evenly coated.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes before serving. If desired, top each serving with a dollop of caviar.
Notes
- For a vegetarian option, substitute the lobster with sautéed mushrooms.
- Add a sprinkle of paprika or cayenne pepper on top before baking for an extra kick.
