Description

Crispy Loaded Fries topped with cheese, bacon, and fresh toppings that will make your taste buds dance!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon bits
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced green onions
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Wash and peel the russet potatoes, then cut them into thin strips to make fries.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with vegetable oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese and bacon bits evenly over the top.
  7. Return the loaded fries to the oven for an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Remove from the oven and top with sour cream, green onions, diced tomatoes, and jalapeños if desired.
  9. Serve immediately while hot and enjoy!

Notes

  • For a healthier option, try baking sweet potatoes instead of russet potatoes.
  • Add your favorite toppings such as guacamole, chili, or different types of cheese for a unique twist.
