  • 2 pounds bone-in, skin-on chicken thighs
  • 2 tablespoons togarashi seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds (optional, for garnish)
  • 2 green onions, sliced (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the togarashi seasoning, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to form a marinade.
  3. Add the chicken thighs to the bowl and coat them thoroughly with the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for more flavor.
  4. Place the marinated chicken thighs skin-side up on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the skin is crispy. The internal temperature should reach 165°F (75°C).
  6. If desired, broil for an additional 2-3 minutes to achieve extra crispiness.
