Description

Keto Steak Rolls are a delicious low carb and gluten free recipe that combines tender flank steak with a creamy cheese filling and fresh spinach.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a bowl, combine the cream cheese, mozzarella cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Lay the thinly sliced flank steak on a clean surface.
  4. Spread a thin layer of the cheese mixture over each slice of steak, leaving a small border around the edges.
  5. Place a few spinach leaves on top of the cheese mixture.
  6. Starting from one end, carefully roll up each slice of steak tightly. Secure with toothpicks if necessary.
  7. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat.
  8. Add the steak rolls and sear for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned.
  9. Transfer the steak rolls to a baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness.
  10. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the flank steak in your favorite low-carb marinade for a few hours before assembling the rolls.
  • Try adding different vegetables like bell peppers or zucchini for a variation in taste and texture.
