Description
Keto Salmon with Lemon Dill Cream Sauce is a must-try!
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped (or 1 tablespoon dried dill)
- Zest of 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 garlic clove, minced
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the salmon fillets, skin-side down, and sear for 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.
- Carefully flip the salmon fillets and transfer the skillet to the preheated oven. Bake for an additional 8-10 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- While the salmon is baking, prepare the lemon dill cream sauce. In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the heavy cream, dill, lemon zest, lemon juice, and minced garlic. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Remove the salmon from the oven and drizzle the lemon dill cream sauce over the top before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the salmon fillets in olive oil, lemon juice, and dill for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Substitute the salmon with other fatty fish like trout or mackerel for a different taste and texture.
