- 1 ½ cups almond flour
- ¼ cup granulated erythritol
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 large eggs
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, erythritol, and salt.
- Stir in the melted butter and 1 egg until a dough forms.
- Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch tart pan.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until lightly golden.
- Remove from the oven and let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, eggs, vanilla extract, nutmeg, cinnamon, and a pinch of salt until smooth.
- Pour the custard mixture into the cooled tart shell.
- Bake for an additional 25-30 minutes, or until the custard is set and slightly jiggles in the center.
- Allow the tart to cool at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
- This tart can be served warm or chilled. For best flavor, refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, try adding a tablespoon of unsweetened cocoa powder to the custard mixture.
- You can also top the tart with whipped cream sweetened with erythritol for an extra treat.
