Description

Keto BLT Lettuce Wraps are a delicious low-carb treat that combines crispy bacon, fresh vegetables, and a creamy dressing, all wrapped in crunchy romaine lettuce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 large tomato, diced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 1 head of romaine lettuce, leaves separated
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and let drain on paper towels. Once cooled, crumble the bacon into small pieces.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Take a large romaine lettuce leaf and spread a thin layer of the mayo mixture on it.
  4. Layer the crumbled bacon, diced tomato, and avocado slices on top of the mayo-covered lettuce leaf.
  5. If desired, sprinkle chopped parsley over the top for added flavor.
  6. Carefully fold the lettuce leaf around the filling to create a wrap. Repeat with remaining ingredients.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving for a chilled option.

Notes

  • For added crunch, include sliced cucumbers or shredded carrots in the wraps.
  • Substitute turkey bacon for a leaner option or use a different type of lettuce, such as butter lettuce, for a milder flavor.
