- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin

Instructions
- In a food processor, combine the chickpeas, tahini, olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, ground cumin, and a pinch of salt.

- If the hummus is too thick, add water a tablespoon at a time until you reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust seasoning, adding more salt or lemon juice if desired.
- Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl and drizzle with a little extra olive oil on top.
- To prepare the pita, cut it into wedges and warm it in a toaster oven or on a skillet over medium heat for about 2-3 minutes until soft.
- Serve the hummus with warm pita wedges for dipping.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a dash of hot sauce to the hummus before blending.
- Experiment with different toppings such as chopped parsley, paprika, or roasted red peppers for added flavor and presentation.
