- 2 whole sea bream (about 1 pound each), cleaned and scaled
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 lemons (1 sliced, 1 for juice)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Rinse the sea bream under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, thyme, rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the herb mixture generously inside the cavity and on the skin of each fish.
- Stuff the cavity of each fish with lemon slices and a few sprigs of thyme or rosemary if desired.
- Place the sea bream on the grill and cook for about 6-8 minutes on each side, or until the flesh is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the grill and let rest for a few minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
