Description

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces halloumi cheese, sliced into ½-inch thick pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving
  • Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the olive oil, dried oregano, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  3. Brush both sides of the halloumi slices with the olive oil mixture.
  4. Place the halloumi slices on the grill and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and grill marks appear.
  5. Remove the grilled halloumi from the grill and arrange on a serving platter.
  6. Squeeze fresh lemon juice over the top and garnish with chopped parsley.
  7. Serve immediately with additional lemon wedges on the side.
