Description
Savory Garlic Butter Steak Bites
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, diced into 1-inch pieces
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, minced (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, minced (or ½ teaspoon dried)
- Salt and black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and drizzle in the olive oil.
- Season the diced steak generously with salt and black pepper.
- Once the oil is shimmering, add the steak pieces to the skillet in a single layer, avoiding overcrowding.
- Sear the steak for about 2-3 minutes on each side until a rich brown crust forms and the desired doneness is reached.
- Transfer the cooked steak bites to a plate and keep warm.
- Lower the heat to medium and add the butter to the skillet, allowing it to melt completely.
- Stir in the minced garlic, rosemary, and thyme, sautéing for 1-2 minutes until aromatic.
- Return the seared steak bites to the skillet, tossing them in the garlic butter until thoroughly coated.
- Warm through for about a minute to soak up the flavors.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- Ensure not to overcrowd the pan while searing the steak for even cooking.
- Adjust the herbs according to your preference, using fresh or dried.
