Description

A delightful and refreshing Frozen Yogurt Bark recipe featuring a mix of berries and nuts, perfect for a healthy snack or dessert.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup agave nectar or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup assorted berries (blackberries, strawberries, blueberries)
  • 1/4 cup crushed nuts (hazelnuts, pistachios, or cashews)
  • 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, agave nectar (or maple syrup), and almond extract until the mixture is creamy and uniform.
  2. Prepare a baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  3. Spread the yogurt mixture onto the lined baking sheet, smoothing it out to a thickness of about 1/4 inch.
  4. Evenly distribute the assorted berries, crushed nuts, and mini chocolate chips (if desired) over the yogurt layer.
  5. Gently press down on the toppings to embed them into the yogurt.
  6. Transfer the baking sheet to the freezer and allow it to freeze for a minimum of 4 hours or until it is completely firm.
  7. Once frozen, lift the yogurt bark from the parchment paper and break it into irregular pieces.
  8. Store the bark in a sealed container in the freezer until you’re ready to enjoy it.

Notes

  • For a refreshing change, swap the berries for diced kiwi and pineapple.
  • Enhance the yogurt mixture with a hint of nutmeg or a splash of coconut extract for added depth of flavor.
