Dalgona Coffee is a whipped coffee drink that is easy to make and deliciously creamy.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 2 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy)
  • Ice cubes (optional)
  • Cocoa powder or cinnamon for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the instant coffee, granulated sugar, and hot water.
  2. Using a hand mixer or a whisk, beat the mixture on high speed until it becomes light, fluffy, and forms stiff peaks. This should take about 2-4 minutes with a mixer or 8-10 minutes by hand.
  3. In a glass, add ice cubes if desired, then pour in the milk, filling it about three-quarters full.
  4. Spoon the whipped coffee mixture on top of the milk, creating a beautiful layer.
  5. Sprinkle cocoa powder or cinnamon on top for garnish, if desired.
  6. Serve immediately and stir the whipped coffee into the milk before drinking.

Notes

  • For a creamier version, use half-and-half instead of milk.
