Description

A delightful plate featuring crispy prosciutto, creamy burrata, and roasted peppers, perfect for a light appetizer or a beautiful presentation.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 ounces prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup burrata cheese
  • 2 large roasted red peppers, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon balsamic glaze
  • 1 teaspoon fresh basil, chopped
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh arugula or mixed greens for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange the prosciutto slices in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool.
  3. While the prosciutto is baking, prepare the burrata. Place the burrata cheese on a serving platter.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil and balsamic glaze over the burrata. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Arrange the sliced roasted red peppers around the burrata on the platter.
  6. Once the prosciutto has cooled, break it into pieces and scatter it over the burrata and peppers.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh basil and serve with a handful of arugula or mixed greens on the side.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider drizzling a bit of pesto over the burrata before serving.
  • Substitute the roasted red peppers with grilled zucchini or eggplant for a different taste profile.
