- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, sautéing for about 1 minute until fragrant.

- In the same skillet, pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer.
- Stir in the heavy cream and let it cook for 2-3 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Return the shrimp to the skillet, tossing to coat them in the creamy sauce. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread.
Notes
- For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for heavy cream.
- For added flavor, consider adding sautéed spinach or sun-dried tomatoes to the sauce.
