Description

A creamy and tropical dessert made with coconut milk and fresh mango, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ripe mango, peeled and diced
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a small bowl, sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water and let it sit for about 5 minutes to bloom.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the coconut milk, heavy cream, and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is warm but not boiling.
  3. Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in the bloomed gelatin until fully dissolved. Add the vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into individual serving cups or ramekins. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or until set.
  5. Once the panna cotta is set, top each serving with diced mango. Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired.

Notes

  • For a tropical twist, add a splash of lime juice to the coconut mixture before pouring it into the cups.
  • Substitute the mango with other fruits like passion fruit or berries for different flavor profiles.
