- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×5-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, milk, and egg until combined.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in the mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, and parsley until evenly distributed.
- Spoon the dough into the prepared loaf pan, pressing down gently to pack it in.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Let the bread cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool slightly before pulling apart and serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, try adding cooked and crumbled bacon or diced jalapeños to the dough before baking.
- You can also substitute the mozzarella with cheddar cheese for a different taste.
