Description
Discover the secret to perfectly crispy Buffalo Wings with this easy recipe.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 pounds chicken wings
- 1/2 cup hot sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 tablespoon white vinegar
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for extra heat)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Celery sticks (for serving)
- Blue cheese dressing (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- In a large bowl, toss the wings with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the wire rack.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping them halfway through.
- While the wings are baking, prepare the buffalo sauce by melting the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir in the hot sauce, white vinegar, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper.
- Once the wings are done baking, transfer them to a large bowl and pour the buffalo sauce over them. Toss until evenly coated.
- Serve the buffalo wings hot with celery sticks and blue cheese dressing on the side.
Notes
- For extra crispy wings, broil them for an additional 2-3 minutes after baking.
- Try adding different spices to the buffalo sauce, such as smoked paprika or onion powder.
