- 2 lemons (1 sliced into rounds, 1 juiced)
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Place the fish on a large baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the fish and rub it in, ensuring the fish is well coated.
- Season the inside and outside of the fish with salt and pepper.
- Stuff the cavity of each fish with minced garlic, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, and a few lemon slices.
- Arrange the remaining lemon slices on top of the fish.
- Drizzle the remaining 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the top of the fish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork and is cooked through.
- Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider adding sliced olives or capers to the cavity of the fish.
- If you prefer a crispy skin, broil the fish for the last 2-3 minutes of cooking, keeping a close eye to prevent burning.
