Description

Discover the juiciest BLT Burgers recipe that combines the classic flavors of bacon, lettuce, and tomato with a delicious beef patty.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 4 slices of crispy bacon
  • 1 cup lettuce leaves
  • 1 large tomato, sliced
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or stovetop skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until just combined.
  3. Divide the beef mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing while cooking.
  4. Grill or cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  5. While the burgers are cooking, fry the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, and Dijon mustard to create a tangy spread.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until golden brown.
  8. Assemble the burgers by spreading the mayonnaise mixture on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the burger patty, crispy bacon, lettuce, and tomato slices. Top with the other half of the bun.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious BLT burgers!

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add sliced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the mayonnaise mixture.
  • Try using turkey or chicken patties instead of beef for a lighter version of this burger.
