Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar (if using). Mix until well combined.
- Gradually add water to the mixture, stirring until a soft dough forms. You may need to adjust the water amount depending on the consistency of the dough.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a ball.
- On a floured surface, flatten each ball into a round disc about 1/4 inch thick.
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat and add the coconut oil or butter.
- Cook each roti for about 2-3 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.
- Remove from the skillet and keep warm while you cook the remaining rotis.
