Description
A delicious and crispy recipe for smoky sweet potato fries that are easy to make and full of flavor.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large sweet potatoes, peeled and cut into thin fries
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- In a large bowl, combine the sweet potato fries with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the fries are evenly coated.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they are not overcrowded for even cooking.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, flipping the fries halfway through, until they are crispy and golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a couple of minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispiness, soak the sweet potato fries in cold water for 30 minutes before drying and seasoning.
- Try adding cayenne pepper for a spicy kick or Parmesan cheese for a savory twist before baking.
