Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.

- Pour in the heavy cream and marinara sauce, stirring to combine. Add the Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

- Add the cooked penne pasta to the sauce, tossing to coat evenly. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve immediately, garnished with fresh basil leaves.
