- 2 cups lemonade
- 1/2 cup dill pickle brine
- 1/4–1/2 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp lemon zest
- 1–2 tsp finely chopped dill (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the lemonade, dill pickle brine, sugar, and lemon zest until well combined.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow pan and place it in the freezer.
- After 60 minutes, use a fork to scrape the mixture, breaking up any ice crystals.
- Continue to scrape the granita every 30 minutes for 3 to 4 hours, until it is fluffy and has a snow-like texture.
- If using, stir in the finely chopped dill before serving.
- Scoop the granita into bowls and serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust the sugar according to your taste preference.
- For a stronger dill flavor, add more chopped dill.
- This granita can be made a day in advance and stored in the freezer.
