Description
Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread is a delicious and savory treat that combines the richness of cream cheese with the aromatic flavor of garlic, all stuffed in soft bread rolls.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 large round bread rolls (such as brioche or kaiser rolls)
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
- 6 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, butter, minced garlic, parsley, sugar, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Cut each bread roll in half horizontally, making sure not to cut all the way through to create a pocket for the filling.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture generously inside each bread roll. If using, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the cream cheese filling.
- Wrap each filled bread roll in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is warm and the cheese is melted.
- Remove from the oven, unwrap the foil, and serve warm.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the cream cheese mixture.
- You can substitute the parsley with fresh chives or basil for a different flavor profile.
