Description

Korean Cream Cheese Garlic Bread is a delicious and savory treat that combines the richness of cream cheese with the aromatic flavor of garlic, all stuffed in soft bread rolls.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large round bread rolls (such as brioche or kaiser rolls)
  • 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 6 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, butter, minced garlic, parsley, sugar, salt, black pepper, and milk. Mix until smooth and well combined.
  3. Cut each bread roll in half horizontally, making sure not to cut all the way through to create a pocket for the filling.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture generously inside each bread roll. If using, sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the cream cheese filling.
  5. Wrap each filled bread roll in aluminum foil and place them on a baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bread is warm and the cheese is melted.
  7. Remove from the oven, unwrap the foil, and serve warm.

Notes

  • For a spicy kick, add a teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the cream cheese mixture.
  • You can substitute the parsley with fresh chives or basil for a different flavor profile.
