A delicious and energizing Keto Zone Peppermint Mocha recipe perfect for the holiday season.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
- 1/2 cup strong brew coffee
- 2 tablespoons organic heavy whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon organic unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 scoop Keto Zone MCT Oil Powder (Dutch Chocolate flavor)
- 3 tablespoons keto sweetener
- 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
- 1/4 cup unsweetened, organic canned coconut cream (optional)
Instructions
- Combine all of the above ingredients except for the peppermint extract and coconut cream in a blender and blend until smooth. (You can also use an electric whisk or milk frother.)
- Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until hot, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract.
- Pour liquid contents into a mug and top with coconut cream if desired. Enjoy while it’s still warm!
Notes
- If needed, use unsweetened almond milk instead of coconut milk.
- Use 2 shots of espresso instead of coffee for a stronger flavor.
- For a sweeter taste, add an extra 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract.
- To prepare coconut cream, refrigerate a can of full-fat, unsweetened coconut milk overnight and scoop out the cream on top when ready to use.
