Description

A delicious and energizing Keto Zone Peppermint Mocha recipe perfect for the holiday season.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsweetened coconut milk
  • 1/2 cup strong brew coffee
  • 2 tablespoons organic heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon organic unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop Keto Zone MCT Oil Powder (Dutch Chocolate flavor)
  • 3 tablespoons keto sweetener
  • 1/8 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened, organic canned coconut cream (optional)

Instructions

  1. Combine all of the above ingredients except for the peppermint extract and coconut cream in a blender and blend until smooth. (You can also use an electric whisk or milk frother.)
  2. Transfer the mixture to a small saucepan and heat over medium heat until hot, about 2-3 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in peppermint extract.
  3. Pour liquid contents into a mug and top with coconut cream if desired. Enjoy while it’s still warm!

Notes

  • If needed, use unsweetened almond milk instead of coconut milk.
  • Use 2 shots of espresso instead of coffee for a stronger flavor.
  • For a sweeter taste, add an extra 1/4 teaspoon of peppermint extract.
  • To prepare coconut cream, refrigerate a can of full-fat, unsweetened coconut milk overnight and scoop out the cream on top when ready to use.
