- 1/4 cup unsweetened Greek yogurt
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tablespoons tandoori seasoning blend
- 1 teaspoon dried garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional for added spice)
- Wooden or metal skewers
Instructions
- Cut the salmon fillet into bite-sized cubes and place them in a bowl.
- In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, lemon juice, olive oil, tandoori seasoning, garlic powder, ground ginger, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper until smooth.
- Pour the marinade over the salmon cubes, tossing gently to ensure each piece is evenly coated.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for a minimum of 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
- Preheat your grill to a medium-high setting.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for about 30 minutes to prevent burning.
- Carefully thread the marinated salmon pieces onto the skewers, leaving a small gap between each cube.
- Grill the skewers for approximately 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork.
- Allow the skewers to rest for a few moments before serving.
