Description
A romantic Keto Steak Oscar recipe perfect for Valentine’s Day, featuring ribeye steak topped with crab meat and a creamy sauce.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb ribeye steak
- 1 cup cooked crab meat
- 4 oz asparagus, trimmed
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the ribeye steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
- While the steak is resting, bring a small pot of water to a boil. Add the asparagus and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- To assemble, place the cooked steak on a plate. Top with the crab meat, then arrange the asparagus alongside. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the steak and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your romantic meal!
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the steak in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for a few hours before cooking.
- You can substitute the crab meat with shrimp or lobster for a different seafood twist.
