Description

A romantic Keto Steak Oscar recipe perfect for Valentine’s Day, featuring ribeye steak topped with crab meat and a creamy sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ribeye steak
  • 1 cup cooked crab meat
  • 4 oz asparagus, trimmed
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Season the ribeye steak with salt, pepper, and garlic powder on both sides. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or until it reaches your desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  2. While the steak is resting, bring a small pot of water to a boil. Add the asparagus and cook for 2-3 minutes until tender but still crisp. Drain and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, cooking until the sauce thickens slightly, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. To assemble, place the cooked steak on a plate. Top with the crab meat, then arrange the asparagus alongside. Drizzle the creamy sauce over the steak and garnish with fresh parsley.
  5. Serve immediately and enjoy your romantic meal!

Notes

  • For added flavor, marinate the steak in olive oil, garlic, and herbs for a few hours before cooking.
  • You can substitute the crab meat with shrimp or lobster for a different seafood twist.
