Scale
  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled breakfast sausage
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Stir in the shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled sausage until evenly distributed.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, almond milk, and melted butter.
  5. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry mixture and stir until a dough forms.
  6. Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, try adding chopped green onions or jalapeños to the dough.
  • You can substitute the breakfast sausage with crumbled bacon for a different taste.
  • For a cheesy topping, sprinkle additional cheddar cheese on top of the biscuits before baking.
