Description

A flavorful low-carb delight, the Keto Masala Omelette Wrap is a perfect meal for those following a ketogenic diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garam masala
  • 1/4 cup diced bell pepper (any color)
  • 1/4 cup diced onion
  • 1/4 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or ghee
  • 4 large lettuce leaves (for wrapping)

Instructions

  1. Whisk the eggs and heavy cream together in a mixing bowl, adding in the salt, black pepper, turmeric, cumin, and garam masala until the mixture is light and airy.
  2. In a skillet, heat the olive oil or ghee over medium heat.
  3. Sauté the diced onion and bell pepper for about 2-3 minutes until they soften and become fragrant.
  4. Stir in the diced tomatoes and let them cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until they begin to break down.
  5. Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables, ensuring an even distribution.
  6. Allow it to cook undisturbed for 3-4 minutes until the edges firm up.
  7. Gently flip the omelette and cook for another 2-3 minutes until it is cooked through.
  8. Once ready, sprinkle the fresh cilantro on top, fold the omelette, and place it onto a lettuce leaf.
  9. Wrap it tightly and enjoy while warm.

Notes

  • Enhance the flavor by adding shredded cheese or slices of avocado before folding the omelette.
  • Feel free to swap in your favorite vegetables like spinach, mushrooms, or zucchini for a personal touch.
