Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese until smooth.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, let it rest for a few minutes.
  5. Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a stick shape, about 6 inches long. Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. If desired, sprinkle the tops with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes for added flavor.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
