- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, melted butter, cream cheese, and mozzarella cheese until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, let it rest for a few minutes.
- Divide the dough into 8 equal portions and roll each portion into a stick shape, about 6 inches long. Place the breadsticks on the prepared baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle the tops with fresh parsley and red pepper flakes for added flavor.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a cheesy twist, add 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese to the dough.
- Serve with marinara sauce for dipping to enhance the Italian flavor.
