- 1 cup ground flaxseed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- For the Street Taco Ranch Sauce:
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground flaxseed, baking powder, and salt. Stir until well mixed.
- Add the water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a thick batter forms.
- Let the mixture sit for about 5-10 minutes to thicken.
- Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of the flaxseed batter into the skillet, spreading it into a thin circle.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges lift and the bottom is golden brown.
- Flip the wrap and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until cooked through.
- Remove from the skillet and repeat with the remaining batter.
- For the Street Taco Ranch Sauce, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, taco seasoning, lime juice, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Serve the flaxseed wraps with a generous drizzle of the Street Taco Ranch Sauce.
Notes
- For a spicier sauce, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a few dashes of hot sauce to the ranch sauce.
- To add more flavor to the wraps, mix in herbs or spices like cumin or oregano into the batter before cooking.
