Description
Delicious and easy-to-make Keto Cheese Bread Rolls that are perfect for a low-carb diet.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the mozzarella cheese and cream cheese. Microwave on high for 30 seconds, then stir. Repeat until the mixture is melted and smooth.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Add the melted cheese mixture and eggs to the dry ingredients. Stir until a dough forms. If the dough is too sticky, you can add a little more almond flour.
- Fold in the grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, if using.
- Using your hands, form the dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball) and place them on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the rolls are golden brown and firm to the touch.
- Allow the rolls to cool for a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring them to a wire rack.
Notes
- For a spicy kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes to the dough.
- You can substitute the almond flour with coconut flour, but use only 1/2 cup as coconut flour absorbs more moisture.
