Description

A delicious and low-carb recipe for Keto Cacio E Pepe Egg Noodles, perfect for those following a ketogenic diet.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  3. Pour the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet and spread it out evenly to about 1/4 inch thick.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the center is set.
  5. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Once cooled, cut the baked cheese mixture into noodle-like strips.
  6. In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the cut noodles and toss them gently to coat in the butter.
  7. Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For added flavor, consider mixing in some crushed red pepper flakes for a spicy kick.
  • You can also substitute the mozzarella with other cheeses like cheddar or gouda for a different taste profile.
  • Serve with pork rinds or celery sticks for a crunchy side option.
