- 1 pound ground beef (80/20 blend)
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (or to taste)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 large head of romaine lettuce, leaves separated
- 1 cup chopped tomatoes
- 1 cup chopped cucumber
- 1/2 cup thinly sliced red onion
- 1/2 cup Greek yogurt
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the ground beef and cook until browned and crumbly, about 5-7 minutes.
- Incorporate the cumin, smoked paprika, turmeric, garlic powder, onion powder, coriander, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper. Sauté for another 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, combine the Greek yogurt and lemon juice to prepare the yogurt sauce. Add a pinch of salt.
- Take a romaine leaf and fill it with a scoop of the seasoned beef.
- Layer on the diced tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion, then drizzle with the yogurt sauce.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley and enjoy your wraps immediately!
