Description
A creamy and nutritious Green Apple Avocado Smoothie that combines the freshness of green apples with the richness of avocado.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 medium green apples, cored and chopped
- 1 ripe avocado, peeled and pitted
- 1 cup fresh spinach leaves
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any milk of choice)
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional)
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Ice cubes (optional, for a chilled smoothie)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the chopped green apples, avocado, spinach, almond milk, honey or maple syrup (if using), lemon juice, and ground cinnamon.
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
- If you prefer a colder smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again until the ice is crushed and the smoothie is chilled.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if necessary by adding more honey or maple syrup.
- Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve immediately.
Notes
- For a creamier texture, use frozen green apples instead of fresh.
- You can also add a scoop of protein powder for an extra protein boost.
- If you want to make it a meal replacement, consider adding a tablespoon of nut butter for added healthy fats and protein.
