Ingredients

  • 2 (6-ounce) salmon fillets
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a small bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, chopped dill, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Spread the garlic-herb butter mixture evenly over the top of each salmon fillet.
  5. Arrange lemon slices on top of the salmon for added flavor.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  7. Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Garnish with additional fresh parsley if desired.
