Description
Garlic Butter Steak Bites with Zucchini is a must-try!
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
- Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Once the oil is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
- Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together to combine, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For extra flavor, marinate the steak bites in soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- You can substitute the zucchini with bell peppers or asparagus for a different vegetable option.
