Ingredients

  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 medium zucchinis, sliced into half-moons
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the steak bites with salt, pepper, and oregano.
  3. Once the oil is hot, add the steak bites in a single layer. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced zucchini to the skillet and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss everything together to combine, cooking for an additional 1-2 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
