  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the cherries, lemon juice, granulated sugar, and almond extract. Toss until the cherries are well coated. Spread the cherry mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, mix together the rolled oats, flour, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Pour in the melted butter and stir until the mixture is crumbly and well combined.
  4. Sprinkle the oat mixture evenly over the cherries in the baking dish. Top with sliced almonds.
