- 1 teaspoon dried basil

- Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the zucchini slices with sea salt, black pepper, and olive oil, ensuring they are well coated.
- Lay the zucchini slices flat on the baking sheet in a single layer.
- In a separate bowl, blend the chopped garlic, mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian herbs, basil, and crushed red pepper if desired.
- Generously distribute the cheese mixture over each zucchini slice.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and has a delightful golden crust.
- Once done, take them out of the oven and allow to cool slightly.
- Finish by sprinkling with fresh parsley before serving.
