- 2 cups almond flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, egg, sour cream, and chopped parsley (if using).
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Fold in the shredded cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
- Using a spoon or cookie scoop, drop heaping tablespoons of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown on top.
- Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier kick, add 1/4 teaspoon of cayenne pepper to the dry ingredients.
- You can substitute the cheddar cheese with mozzarella or pepper jack for different flavors.
