Ingredients

  • 2 medium celeriacs (about 1.5 pounds total)
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • For the garlic mayo dip:
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. Peel the celeriacs and cut them into fry-shaped sticks, about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the celeriac fries with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  4. Spread the fries in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  6. While the fries are baking, prepare the garlic mayo dip by combining mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper in a small bowl. Mix well.
  7. Once the fries are done, remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving with the garlic mayo dip.

Notes
