Description

A delicious and guilt-free cauliflower pizza crust that is easy to make and perfect for a healthy meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 medium head of cauliflower (about 2 to 3 cups riced)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Olive oil spray (for greasing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly spray with olive oil.
  3. Remove the leaves and stem from the cauliflower, and cut it into florets.
  4. In a food processor, pulse the cauliflower florets until they resemble rice or fine crumbs.
  5. Transfer the riced cauliflower to a microwave-safe bowl and cover it with a damp paper towel. Microwave on high for 5-6 minutes until softened.
  6. Allow it to cool slightly.
  7. Once cooled, place the cauliflower in a clean kitchen towel or cheesecloth and squeeze out as much moisture as possible.
  8. In a large mixing bowl, combine the riced cauliflower, egg, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  9. Spread the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, shaping it into a round crust about 1/4 inch thick.
  10. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until golden brown and firm.
  11. Remove the crust from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before adding your favorite toppings.
  12. Return to the oven for an additional 10-15 minutes to bake the toppings, if desired.

Notes

  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the crust mixture.
  • Experiment with different cheeses, such as cheddar or feta, for a unique flavor profile.
